Snowy February!

Hello Everyone!  Hope you all have had a great week! Did anyone do anything fun for the Super Bowl???  I have to say - when they were talking about the temperature at the stadium in Minnesota - I am super glad that I was sitting at home next to the fire.   The snow in the morning made for a lovely day in the sewing room.
Speaking of Sewing rooms - I wondered if we would like to share our sewing rooms??  I thought next week I would start a new section where we talk about our sewing spaces!  So many people have so many nifty ideas for storage and work spaces in there creative areas.
 Hoffman Fabrics DREAM BIG
You can take these panels, and sew them together into stunning quilt tops!
they are 100% Cotton and they measure 44" x 42"

A supremely well done Judy Niemeyer pattern is now being done by Lynda on the longarm.  Someone was in Saturday, and said it looked like it was a Navajo blanket!

Universal Sewing Table
The Universal Sewing Table has all of the conveniences of a custom fit sewing table, without the hassle and expense of buying a machine-specific table. With a table surface of 45" x 17.5", there is ample room for even large quilting projects! The optional strong canvas side pockets also give plenty of extra storage without sacrificing any sewing space
This sewing table is intended for use with most Janome machines. We will work with you to get the correct insert for your machine.
There is also a separate drawer and shelf assembly that can also be purchased.  Those are in the picture, but, they don't come with the main table.
Please - send me your finished projects - and we will show them off here!!!  Please include all the information that you can about your project - If you know the pattern name - and the fabrics used - technique....  We all know how much work our projects take - and it is always so fun to see other peoples work - I am always especially interested in other peoples color ways -
This is a little quilt top I made - My daughter bought the pattern for me - and my husband got the grunge dot fabric for the hats....  I love how they got together to get different components of this quilt.  I will blog about this one more when it goes on the long arm.

This week...the question is-Would you rather be locked in a room that is constantly dark for a week or a room that is constantly bright for a week?

Last week - we asked the dreaded question - Toilet paper - OVER or UNDER!  We got 3 kinds of answers....
Mostly people had no preference - or never really thought about it.
Then we had the people who were in favor of under...   But, ultimately ...OVER THE TOP won for # of people who thought it should be that way!
Here is another example of dedication to the art!  Love the old fashioned sewing machine -
Would YOU get a Sewing Tattoo?

Until next Week Everyone - Stay Safe and Warm!
