Happy Summer!!
It has been so wet... and when it is not wet and cold - it is hot and steamy.... so - as a result - I believe I am sewing more this summer than in past summers! I don't usually get to work on the Saturdays that we are doing the Sisterhood Quilt - and I got to see how FUN the class was last Saturday!!! It was heartwarming to hear all the laughter that went on throughout the morning! Everyone left with new idea's and tools and files to continue with this beautiful quilt. Oh BOY did I have fun with this!!! The Double Wide Dresden book and Ruler..... and 2 packs of Kimberbell Basics Fat Quarters. So, from these 2 packs of fat quarters, I was able to make: The Lady Bug Runner The Christmas Present Runner The Spiderweb Runner The Quilt (Throw Sized) The Table Topper and the Beach Ball Pillow! I also had enough fabric for all the BACKS! AND! There was some fabric leftover for my scrap quilt bin! These Fat Quarter packs and the book and ruler
