Help Wanted!! - New in the Shop - About US!

Hi everyone!!  When March rolls around on the calendar - it is like you can almost smell spring...we have more days when you can dash from the car to the house or store without a coat, and, I don't know about you all, but for me - the longer hours of daylight are much appreciated!

We have these ADORABLE License plate holders!!!  They are new in the shop - and only $5.99!
We also got this pretty coordinating fabrics this week!  So Springy!
For all of you who joined Karen in her Thangles class - she is doing a little "show and tell" here - she and Lynda have finished quilting and binding her quilt!!!  Look how beautiful it turned out!
I thought I would do a little "overview" of all of us here at Sewing Concepts, this will be especially helpful for anyone who reads the blog that has NOT come in and met us. Well, we have been busy, busy, busy in the store lately, with classes, and getting in new fabrics and notions!  Making store samples, and just generally having fun, and getting ready for SPRING - that sound so nice!  
Sisterhood Retreats Fun! A great time was had, and some great things were made this quarter at the FIST EVER Hoopsisters - Sisterhood Retreats! We all learned how to make a sturdy - versatile and  unique MAKEUP bag!   If  you missed this in Woodstock, HAVE NO FEAR!  You can STILL be involved in the  1st Quarter at our CARPENTERSVILLE store! Friday March 2, 2018 at the Carpentersville store - they are going to make the Coffee Quilt from the Beans to Brew Collection.
Then - on Saturday - March 3, 2018 - they are going to also make the Make Up Bag from the "Let's Make Up" Collection.  A little some thing interesting about many HoopSisters designs...   HoopSisters thinks the customers who attend their Sisterhood Retreats and tkae their Block of the Month Quilt classe…

Snowy February!

Hello Everyone!  Hope you all have had a great week! Did anyone do anything fun for the Super Bowl???  I have to say - when they were talking about the temperature at the stadium in Minnesota - I am super glad that I was sitting at home next to the fire.   The snow in the morning made for a lovely day in the sewing room.
Speaking of Sewing rooms - I wondered if we would like to share our sewing rooms??  I thought next week I would start a new section where we talk about our sewing spaces!  So many people have so many nifty ideas for storage and work spaces in there creative areas.
