What is NEW in the shop!  There are so many exciting new things that come out in the Sewing/Quilting World - we try to get the new fabrics, notions, patterns that we hope you will enjoy!


 Little "Showing Off" here - but - we are so happy and excited to share the new Longarm with its robotic capability - and all the amazing designs it can do!

 Oh Yeah!  What it's all about - sharing your finished project with everyone.

 For many years, it was considered bad luck to incorporate HEARTS into a wedding quilt. Traditionally, interlocking rings (Wedding Ring Quilt) and Tulips were used.



As much as we love to have classes, and share tips (and we will) we also learn a great deal from you all...  We hope to have a fun section where we share with each other - all the ways of improving our craft! Also, we will do articles about things we understand that you want to learn about!  Thinks like: Quilt Appraisals- Cost of Making a Quilt - Healthy Quilting - Sewing Machine Trouble



Learning and sharing in the history of the craft we all love. 







Oh - Boy - yep - Occasionally - we need help.   Well, really... don't we all?

Hello Everyone! Opening with talking about the weather is rather lame - but, WOW - we have been all over the place weather wise!  Never a boring moment this winter...  Everyone please be careful - I have seen more ice on sidewalks this year than I can remember...  I imagine it is just too hard to keep up with the ever changing temperatures! Classes - Collages - Retreats!

APRIL 2018 Hello Everyone!  We have been very busy at the store!  Putting together all kinds of new classes, and getting in new fabrics - and, occasionally - getting projects finished! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -   Lynda started teaching the RULER CLASS today.  They are all busy getting their lines drawn on the quilts - this photo is a representation of what they will be doing.    She ran this class twice today - we figure the ladies in the MORNING class must have still been kinda sleepy - they were very quiet, and the afternoon class was very talkative!   - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -   I want to talk about a class that we are running soon.   Deb Tucker has come up with a ruler called a "V" block ruler - This tool is a must have if you lik
